Square Hexad Outies 4

Unit Relationships. In this design, each square hexad outie unit overlaps with the units above and below it. However, each unit does not overlap with the units to the right and left, but only touches lightly at their points.

Implied Shapes. The negative space between the squares defines three types of shapes: a hexagon, an equilateral triangle, and a rhombus with angles of 60 and 120 degrees.

Point Situations. None of the points are free. There are four different point situations:

  • Meeting of a hexagon, two squares, and a triangle.
  • Meeting of a hexagon, a rhombus, and two squares.
  • Meeting of a two rhombuses and two squares.
  • Meeting of a rhombus, two squares, and a triangle.
